IN HOME TRAINING

Our In-home training program is designed for those dog owners who have the time and interest to train their dog themselves. This program requires the owner to dedicate 1 hour a day, every day, for 7 weeks. After the training is complete the owner should plan on continuing to practice for at least a couple of months.
The trainer does not come to the home to train your dog. The trainer will come to your home to teach you how to train the dog. We will take your dog and demonstrate the first lesson and we will then teach you how to give your dog the first lesson. You will then practice with your dog for 30 to 40 minutes once or twice a day until the following week when the trainer will watch you, show you improvements, and then teach you the following week's lesson.
At the end of 5 weeks you and your dog should be able to do all of the basic commands around your home. The next 2 lessons will be done at the kennel where we can provide distractions, other dogs, and other people.
